National Wear Red Day at Solvay Bank
February 5th, 2010: Solvay Bank employees participated in the National Wear Red Day to benefit the American Heart Association and raise awareness of heart disease. Employees each made a donation in order to wear red for the day.These donations collected will going towards our total donation goal for the Heart Walk in April. We had over 100 people join in for this great cause!
SB Employees Visit Ed Smith School

February 1, 2010: Solvay Bank participated in their annual Dictionary Day. Solvay Bank employees visited Ed Smith School in Syracuse and donated dictionaries to a third grade class. Each of the students were presented with their own individual dictionary to use now or in years to come.
SB Community Holiday Party: Great Success!




December 6, 2009:Solvay Bank employees put on their 17th Annual Community Holiday Party at the Solvay Geddes Community Center in Solvay. Hundreds of people came out on this wonderful Sunday afternoon to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, listen and sing along to some entertaining holiday music by Maria Desantis and the Desantis Band, and enjoy some great refreshments.
TEAM SB Strides for a Cure!

October 4, 2009: Sixteen Solvay Bank employees and their families woke up early on a Sunday morning and joined hundreds of walkers and runners in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer event at Clinton Square in Syracuse. The weather cleared as the race began and it was a great day to walk the streets of downtown Syracuse.
