SOLVAY BANK EMPLOYEES "GO RED"

In an effort to raise the awareness of the devastating effects of heart disease among women in the Untied States, the employees of Solvay Bank celebrated National Wear Red Day. In all 8 locations, Solvay Bank employees wore business-casual red clothing to bring to mind and show concern for themselves, coworkers, friends and family member who may be affected by heart disease. Heart disease remains the number one killer of women in America and is often called the silent killer.
"Over 80% of the Bank's 150 employees wore red," reported Valerie Bartran, Vice President of Human Resources for Solvay Bank. "We raised over $400 through our Go Red activities today," said Bartran. The Bank will have a team of employees that will participate in April's Heart Walk.
