Now Available — E-Statements

Solvay Bank is committed to supporting the environment and is proud to offer E-Statements as an eco-friendly option for our customers. 

E-Statements are electronic and replace paper statements.  They include all the same information that your paper statement does.  The difference is that E-Statements are emailed to you as a secure PDF (Portable Document Format) file or are available when viewing your accounts through MoneyLink 24 or BusinessAccess 24 so that you can view, download, save, or print your statement convenience.

E-Statements are the simple, secure, GREEN alternative to paper bank statements.

You can also view images of any checks that have cleared your account. If you have combined statements including other types of accounts (e.g. Savings Account), you will still see these as part of your E-Statement. You will be notified by email when new statements are available for viewing. E-statements can be printed or saved to your PC for record keeping.

Here are the answers to some common questions about E-Statements

What is E-Statement service?
E-Statements is a new enhancement to which allows you to receive and view your checking and savings statements online. You will also be able to view images of any checks that have cleared your account and you can save or print your E-Statements for record keeping.

What accounts are eligible for E-Statements?
E-Statements are available for all personal and business checking and statement savings accounts.  Your accounts can be combined into one monthly E-Statement.

How do I sign up for E-Statements?
Getting E-Statements started is easy!

If you are an existing MoneyLink 24 or BusinessAccess 24 customer:

  • Log-on to MoneyLink 24 and click on the Services tab and then click on E-Statements under the Other heading located in the extreme right hand column of the Services grid and complete the online form and submit to Solvay Bank.  
     
  • BusinessAccess 24 customers click on the E-Statements link located at the bottom of each page after logging on to BusinessAccess 24 and complete the online form and submit to Solvay Bank.

If you are not an existing MoneyLink 24 or BusinessAccess 24 customer:

  • If you are not a MoneyLink 24 or BusinessAccess 24 customer click here to download and print the E-Statements Enrollment form in PDF format.  Once you have completed the form mail to Solvay Bank E-Statements, 1537 Milton Ave, Solvay NY 13209 or fax to 1-315-484-2246.
     
  • When we receive your application in the mail or via fax and verified your signature you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail.  You will receive an email notification with your password protected E-Statement attached as a PDF.  At that time you will be prompted to enter the password that will be explained in your confirmation letter to enable you to view your E-Statements online.

Is there a fee for E-Statements?
E-Statement service is free.

Will I continue to receive paper statements?
No. If you receive E-Statements for an account, you will not receive a paper statement.

Can I set up some of my accounts for E-Statements and some for paper statements?
Yes. You can choose which of your accounts you want to receive E-Statements for, and which ones you wish to continue to receive paper statements for.  However, combined statements can not be split between the two methods of delivery.

When will I receive my E-Statement?
You will receive your E-Statement approximately the same time that you currently receive your paper statement. When new E-Statements are available for viewing, we will send an email notification to the email address you indicated on the E-Statement enrollment form.

How long will my E-Statements be available?
E-Statements will be available via MoneyLink 24 and BusinessAccess 24 for 13 months after they have been posted for viewing.

What if I have a joint account? Do both owners have to agree to receive E-Statements?
No. Only one account owner's request is necessary to turn E-Statements on, and paper statements off.

If I change my mind can I discontinue E-Statements?
Yes. You can turn off E-Statements at any time. If you wish to turn off E-Statements for some or all of your accounts simply notify Solvay Bank in writing.

When I open new accounts, will they automatically be set up for E-Statements?
Not automatically. You will need to complete an E-Statement Enrollment form for each new account in order to receive your monthly E-Statement.

Is my statement information secure?
When you bank online with Solvay Bank, your personal financial information is protected.  To receive E-Statements you need a browser that supports secure 128-bit encryption.  Solvay Bank maintains a firewall to prevent unauthorized entry to our systems, and data is transferred using a private code that encrypts the data to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
