B'ville Big Chill
At Solvay Bank, we believe in showing up for our neighbors, even when the temperatures drop! We are thrilled to sponsor for the B'ville Big Chill. This event is a highlight of the winter season, bringing our community together to raise vital funds for local charities. Whether you’re plunging into the Seneca River or cheering from the heated tent, your participation helps drive the donations that support Baldwinsville’s most impactful organizations. We’ll see you at the water’s edge!

Denim Donations
We’re thrilled to highlight the impact our team is making at Solvay Bank through our ongoing "Denim Donations" initiative. Each Friday, our employees have the option to trade in their formal attire for jeans in exchange for a $3 donation to support a meaningful local charity or cause. Some of the incredible local organizations we have proudly supported include American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Anita's Stevens Swan Humane Society, GiGi's Playhouse, HumaneCNY and Solvay-Geddes Community Youth Center.
Syracuse American Heart Association Heart Walk
Solvay Bank is proud to support the Syracuse American Heart Association Heart Walk. We lace up alongside our neighbors to raise vital funds and awareness for cardiovascular health research.

Utica American Heart Association Heart Run/Walk
Solvay Bank is proud to support America’s Greatest Heart Run & Walk at Utica University's Harold T. Clark Athletic Center. Our team shows up for this signature regional event to support lifesaving heart and stroke research initiatives.


Camillus Memorial Day Parade
Honoring our heroes together. Solvay Bank is proud to support the Camillus Memorial Day Parade! Our team loves showing up for this wonderful community tradition to honor and remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
Mary Nelson Backpack Giveaway
Solvay Bank is proud to support the Mary Nelson Youth Day Foundation’s Annual Backpack Giveaway. In addition to donating backpacks to help local families, our team members are happy to volunteer their time, engaging with the community firsthand. For more than 20 years, Mary Nelson has been a vital resource for Syracuse families, providing essential supplies to children in need. We are honored to help equip local students with the tools they need for a successful school year and to support this incredible mission of empowering our youth.


Boys & Girls Club Financial Literacy Program
Solvay Bank hosted the Career Launch session as part of our "Invest in Your Future" series with the Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse. During the session, we explored diverse career paths, discussed resume building, and highlighted valuable mentoring and training opportunities. Alongside this, our "Reading Pays" initiative continues to equip local students to become confident readers and savvy money managers by covering essential financial literacy topics like saving and budgeting. We are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs to help empower local youth by teaching foundational financial skills, budgeting and smart money management concepts.


Solvay Grade Career Fair
The Solvay Bank team was proud to participate in the Solvay 3rd and 4th Grade Career Fair. Our team had the privilege of meeting local students and introducing them to the exciting world of banking. By encouraging these young minds to dream big, we continue our mission of supporting the community and inspiring the next generation.

Home HeadQuarters Block Blitz
Solvay Bank employees were excited to volunteer at the Home HeadQuarters Block Blitz, lending a hand to local homeowners. From painting and repairing stairways to sprucing up landscaping, our team tackled neighborhood improvements head-on. This annual event is all about revitalizing our community, and we are thrilled to be a part of it. We extend a huge thank you to Home HeadQuarters for organizing this fantastic initiative!


Reading Pays at Solvay Elementary
In partnership with the Solvay Union Free School District and the Solvay Public Library, Solvay Bank's Reading Pays Program is dedicated to helping students of all ages become confident readers and smart money managers. By covering essential financial literacy topics like saving and budgeting, we aim to provide local youth with a strong foundation for the future. We are proud to give back to our community in meaningful ways and support the growth of our next generation.


Safe Banking for Seniors Seminars
Solvay Bank is proud to continue supporting financial education with our recent Safe Banking for Seniors seminar at the Solvay Public Library. This session focused on Known Perpetrator Fraud, teaching attendees how to spot the warning signs of financial exploitation by individuals in positions of trust. Thank you to everyone who attended and to the Solvay Public Library for hosting us. We remain dedicated to giving our neighbors the resources they need to protect themselves and stay safe!

Town of Geddes Concert Series
Solvay Bank was proud to sponsor last week's Town of Geddes Parks & Rec concert featuring The DeSantis Orchestra! The Reading League of NY
Solvay Bank team members volunteer with The Reading League, organizing and packaging over 4,500 classroom sets to be delivered to schools across the country. We are proud to support an initiative that helps ensure every child has access to quality reading resources and every teacher has the evidence-based tools to succeed. The Reading League is dedicated to transforming reading education so all children can learn to read, and all teachers can teach them. Founded in 2016, this national nonprofit works tirelessly to promote effective reading instruction and help every student become a skilled reader. Together, we're making more possible for literacy and education!
